Hello everyone...This is my first post of BACK HOME COTTAGE. I have been away for several years with a good excuse....I've been helping with our family restaurant...really!!!! But something happened yesterday at church...Our pastor ask.... What is your purpose in life??? It went straight to my heart. Well I know why God created us...But that wasn't the question... It was.... whats our purpose? Think about it.... In my younger years I could answer very quickly to be a Mom. I can even answer pretty fast today to be a Maw Maw (that's what they call me) To be a good wife to my awesome husband. But there is something else...I know there is... God has put a passion inside of me.... a talent he has given me...I absolutely love to create and decorate. Its so deep inside of me that I dream of it. I lay in bed and plan my day out....What can I do to poof my booth...I think I'll make a new burlap wreath for the front door of our cottage(will tell you about that later) Maybe I will paint a accent wall in my dining room....perhaps I will go to T.J. Maxx for a inspiration gift to me. Constantly on my mind...I pray Lord I'm sorry to keep thinking of decorating instead of you and your word...I apologize for that all the time....OH MY!!! Is there anyone out there like me...and still that question....What is your purpose in life??? I know that I love people, I love to be an inspiration to others and I love that others inspire me. With that I decided a fresh Blog BACK HOME COTTAGE. Where did the name come from?....Tell ya later. What do you feel that your purpose is? Can't wait to hear!
